Welcome to Alpine Exploratory! All our trips are available self-guided, where we book your choice of dates for your group. Since 2005 our mission has been to give the best interpretation of the trails that we walk, allied to friendly service. We also offer guided trips on the Tour du Mont Blanc, Alta Via 1, Walker's Haute Route, Jotunheimen Tour and the Bernese Oberland, or can organise your own privately guided trip on any of our routes. Exploration

Every spring/summer we travel to each of our destinations to hike the trails and create our Season Update on the trail and the route conditions, that we send to clients.

Flexibility

Choose your preferred hiking dates, accommodation style, and number of days on the trail, and we'll plan your walking holiday to suit your needs. Or join one of our guided trips!

"Excellent trip to the Julian Alps. Fantastic organisation with detailed route cards and maps. Breathtaking scenery which varied daily. Good range of huts each with their own flavour. This is tough in places especially in the heat. The website info about difficulty of the route is really helpful. Accurate information provided by AE which allows you to walk and admire all you survey! Definitely pleased with the service, communication and route. Highly recommend."
